Tsukuba University and AIST have been conducting research and development aimed at solving economic disparity and revitalizing local communities through next-generation "shopping" and AI technologies. We, "Peace and Passion," are a Tsukuba University venture led by those researchers, developing and promoting a fantastic and convenient app called "Requestland" to spread it globally. (explanation site)

As the development of RequestLand has progressed and it's now ready for use, we are preparing to enter a phase of spreading it mainly in English-speaking regions, such as the United States.

Therefore, we are looking for participants who want to take on the challenge of planning from scratch, discussing roles, and working on building communities and solving social issues through the dissemination of this technology.

This is a chance to collaborate with U.S. university students and create videos in English (ChatGPT support is OK). Moreover, as you will start from planning with your fellow participants, you can expect to improve your English skills and leadership abilities.

As we are starting from scratch in this dissemination phase, anyone can participate without any selection process.

To achieve actual results, it’s important to commit a substantial amount of time and work seriously, so we are looking for those who can come at least three days a week and, if possible, for a longer-term period. After the summer break, you can continue to participate according to your class schedule.

Currently, T-kun, a M1 student in social engineering at the University of Tsukuba, is working on designing a browser extension for Banban Board. The browser extension adds products that users want to see as candidates to the board, but he is racking his brains over how to make it possible to perform various operations with a single button without interfering with the currently displayed page.

We may not win an Olympic gold medal, but let’s aim to improve society and create a future where everyone is happy, even to the level of winning a Nobel Prize!

Note: Requestland is currently under development, but you can still register and use it. Please register as an organization rather than an individual user. We are in the process of completely eliminating passwords and transitioning to passkeys (such as face recognition and touch authentication). In the upcoming version, user registration is expected to become even simpler.
