Dear Requestland users,

We are pleased to announce that Requestland has switched to passkey authentication, enabling login via facial recognition or touch authentication.

Passkeys are encrypted digital keys that provide far greater security than passwords and cannot be forgotten. If you have multiple Land IDs, you can instantly switch between accounts.

When signing in for the first time after the transition, press the “Sign in” button at the top-right corner of Requestland, then select “Create passkey.” After entering your Land ID, a verification link will be sent to your registered email.

The passkeys you create for each Land ID can be used across both the browser and the Requestland app. Simply select the passkey from the “Select passkey” option on the sign-in screen.

Passkeys are more secure, so your login session will remain active for 30 days. During this time, there’s generally no need to sign out.

User registration is now simpler as well. We’ve removed the distinction between personal and organization accounts, with only organization accounts supported moving forward. Personal accounts can still be used for now, but we recommend transitioning to an organization account as personal accounts will eventually be phased out. If you need help migrating coupons or large amounts of data, feel free to contact us.

If you wish to delete your account, please log in with your Land ID and select the “Delete Account” option from the user settings menu.

For any questions, please reach out via our contact page.

Support for OS and browsers:

Passkeys are relatively new technology, so there are a few things to keep in mind:

Apple and Google devices support passkey synchronization, allowing you to sign in on any device logged into the same Apple ID or Google ID. On Windows, you’ll need to create a passkey for each device individually.

There have been reports of the authentication dialog not appearing during passkey creation or login. Restarting your OS has been found to resolve this issue.
