An exquisite design that surpasses the conventions of apps. Why did we go to such lengths to perfect it?

Requestland now allows you to more freely change colors and background images, and it also supports dark mode.

We've refined the themes by paying close attention to subtle shades of pink and also included beautiful illustrations and a more subdued themes suited for men. You can even set your favorite anime image URL as a background.

My recommendation is "Miss Branche." The beautiful floral background image comes from the material collection "PAKUTASO," created by @writtenbyelly. The text background has a slight transparency so that the flowers gently show through. Among the prepared backgrounds, you can easily spot writtenbyelly’s work. Enjoy customizing it.

The name of this theme comes from the acrylic chair "Miss Branche" by Shiro Kuramata (1934-1991), where the flowers are in translucent acrylic material. It originally derives from the character "Blanche DuBois" from A Streetcar Named Desire, a rather dark American story that I remember reading as a student. Why did he choose that name, I wonder?

In an NHK program, Kuramata's wife shared the story behind the creation of this chair. The designer must have poured his life into the work, as he passed away at 56.

Our Requestland has also been dedicated to research and development aimed at solving economic disparity issues, entering its tenth year.

While the chair is extremely expensive, this theme is available for free. We hope it adds color and richness to the lives of our users.

Special thanks to the creator of the background images. You can find the source and link at the bottom of the settings page.
